Chemical Peel Treatment In Salt Lake City, UT | Beauty Lab + Laser in Salt Lake City, UT

What Is A Full Feel The Peel?

A Full Feel the Peel is a more advanced chemical peel designed for clients who want deeper correction and long-lasting results. These peels go beyond surface exfoliation to target concerns like acne, pigmentation, scarring, texture, and photoaging. With a range of medical-grade solutions—from TCA to salicylic acid to innovative “no-peel” options—we can customize your treatment to your unique skin type and goals.

Some of the options we may choose from include:

  • Salicylic 20%: Targets oil, congestion, and moderate to advanced acne.

  • 5 Berry Pigment Control Peel: Brightens pigmentation and photo-damage with antioxidants.

  • BioRePeel: A no-downtime, collagen-stimulating peel for glow, texture, and clarity.

  • Vitamin A Solution: Combines TCA, glycolic, and retinol for acne, scarring, and pigmentation.

  • Pigment Lift (15% TCA): Corrects pigmentation, wrinkles, and deeper acne issues.

  • Jessner Solution: For advanced acne, scars, and stubborn hyperpigmentation.

  • AlphaRet Peel 30%: Smooths early signs of aging, photodamage, and texture.

What Can I Expect During My Appointment?

Your esthetician will ask about your concerns and skin care goals before beginning. Once expectations have been set, we are ready to begin. There are typically 4 steps of a chemical peel treatment. 1- A thorough cleanse. 2- A pre-treatment solution is applied. 3- The application of the peel. Depending on the peel that was chosen, multiple layers may be done. Or after a number of minutes, the peel will be removed. 4- Post care products and SPF will be applied. Your esthetician will finish by going over post care instructions so you can get your best results.

How Long Do Results Last?

Results from a Full Feel the Peel can last 2-6 months, depending on the peel type, your skin concerns, and your ongoing skincare routine. Many clients see dramatic improvement in tone, clarity, and texture after just one peel. For optimal results—especially for concerns like acne, melasma, or pigmentation—a series of peels spaced 4–6 weeks apart is recommended, followed by maintenance treatments 1–2 times per year. Daily SPF and medical-grade skincare will help protect and extend your results.

Do Chemical Peels Hurt?

The sensations you feel depend on the strength of peel used. You can typically expect to feel prickling and/or heat, itching, and feeling tight. We use a fan to help make your treatment more comfortable. Within a few minutes these sensations will dissipate and you will feel back to normal before you walk out the door.

Is There Any Downtime or Recovery After This Treatment?

This depends on the peel selected. Some options, like BioRePeel, have little to no visible peeling or downtime, while others- such as TCA-based peels or Jessner’s- may cause visible flaking and shedding for 3–7 days. Most clients plan their treatment when they can accommodate a few “social downtime” days if visible peeling is expected. Regardless of the peel chosen, you’ll be able to resume normal daily activities immediately, but it’s important to avoid sun exposure, picking, or exfoliating until your skin fully heals.
