A Mini Feel the Peel is a quick, professional chemical peel designed to refresh and brighten your skin in just 30 minutes. These treatments are less intense than traditional chemical peels, making them an affordable, approachable way to experience the benefits of exfoliation, hydration, and skin renewal. At Beauty Lab, we offer three different mini peel options so we can customize to your skin type and goals:

Pumpkin Exfoliator: A gentle enzyme peel with pumpkin, fruit enzymes, and peptides to restore hydration and radiance.

Micropeel 20% AHA (Glycolic): Smooths texture and improves signs of photoaging like fine lines, dullness, and uneven skin tone.

Micropeel Sensitive Skin Solution: A hydrating, brightening option with a lighter exfoliation—perfect for event prep or sensitive skin.
What Can I Expect During My Appointment?
Your esthetician will ask about your concerns and skin care goals before beginning. Once expectations have been set, we are ready to begin. There are typically 4 steps of a chemical peel treatment. 1- A thorough cleanse. 2- A pre-treatment solution is applied. 3- The application of the peel. Depending on the peel that was chosen, multiple layers may be done. Or after a number of minutes, the peel will be removed. 4- Post care products and SPF will be applied. Your esthetician will finish by going over post care instructions so you can get your best results.
How Long Do Results Last?
Results from a Mini Feel the Peel typically last 2–4 weeks, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and skincare routine. Most clients notice an immediate boost in radiance, smoothness, and hydration right after their peel. For longer-lasting improvements in texture, tone, and fine lines, we recommend a series of treatments spaced about 4–6 weeks apart, paired with medical-grade skincare and daily SPF to protect your glow.
Do Chemical Peels Hurt?
The sensations you feel depend on the strength of peel used. You can typically expect to feel prickling and/or heat, itching, and feeling tight. We use a fan to help make your treatment more comfortable. Within a few minutes these sensations will dissipate and you will feel back to normal before you walk out the door.
Is There Any Downtime or Recovery After This Treatment?
Mini Feel the Peels are designed to be low-downtime. Most clients experience mild redness for a few hours and possibly light flaking over the next couple of days, depending on the peel chosen. You can return to work or social activities right away—making these treatments “event-ready” and easy to fit into a busy schedule.

Is There Any Prep For This Treatment?
Discontinue use of retinol, active ingredients like glycolic and salicylic, and any topical acne creams 5-7 days before and after your treatment. We can’t treat skin that has recently been waxed or lasered. We can’t treat sunburned skin, or skin that has any open wounds or rashes. So other than making sure your skin is treatable, just come into your appointment and we will take care of the rest!

We recommend using medical-grade skincare products all the time! We carry Alastin, Skinceuticals, Skin Medica, SkinBetter and Plated Skin Science. Our expert estheticians can help guide you through putting together the perfect aftercare routine.
